About the role ResortPass is seeking our first in-house Site Reliability Engineer. In this role you will work with our Product engineering teams to ensure Resortpass engineering moves faster and with confidence. Reporting directly to our VP of Engineering, you will be responsible that our technical infrastructure is well managed and monitored, any issues and bottlenecks are anticipated and defused and capacity is efficiently provisioned and deployed.


What You’ll Do

•Maintain our technical infrastructure making sure we are our ECS clusters are well provisioned and our RDS instances are running-smoothly and up-to-date. •Lead the charge on monitoring / alerting by enabling timely and actionable alerts are surfaced to various on-call rotations. •Maintain our logging infrastructure by finding the balance between cost and debuggability. •Deploy new pieces of infrastructure via Terraform as our organizational needs change. •Build and maintain our Jenkins deployment pipelines. •Improve our developer efficiency by improving deployments, testing and developer environments. •Support engineers in releasing products dealing with network changes and configuration. •Work with our CISO partners to acquire necessary compliance (e.g. SOC II) and improve our security posture by deploying solutions like EDR, MDM etc. •Take ownership of operational tasks required to run a secure network and provide limited IT support for the company.


What You’ll Bring

We believe in a holistic approach when evaluating talent for our team and post new roles often, so even if this role isn’t quite right, we want to meet you! •5+ years of Devops / SRE / DevSecOps experience, ideally in a high growth startup •5+ years of managing an AWS infrastructure •Experience managing (upgrades, back-ups, restores, replicas etc.) RDS instances, ideally Postgres •Experience with at least one APM tool, ideally DataDog •Experience with setting up monitoring and alerting and working with product engineering on-call rotations •Experience with IAM user and permission management •Experience creating and managing different environments with a configuration driven approach •Familiarity with compliance concerns •Familiarity with Cyber Security space
