Fullstack Engineer - React, AWS, Java

Sedai is looking for a Fullstack Engineer to drive the development and scaling of our autonomous cloud platform. In this role, you will be responsible for building high-quality, performant, and scalable systems, leveraging your expertise in Java, cloud-native development, and distributed systems. You’ll work closely with the founding engineering team to design and implement mission-critical features that enable intelligent, autonomous cloud optimization. This is a high-impact role that requires deep technical expertise, a strong problem-solving mindset, and a passion for automation and scalability.

Design and development of high-performance, scalable backend systems using Java. Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code that meets performance and reliability goals. Architect and develop cloud-native services on Kubernetes to support large-scale workloads. Build code to optimize cloud services for cost, performance, and availability using machine learning-driven automation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system observability, security, and operational excellence. Support customer implementations and troubleshooting as needed. Contribute to technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and fostering best practices in software development.

7+ years of experience in backend software development with a strong focus on Java. Proven expertise in building and optimizing large-scale, high-performance distributed systems. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design for scalability and efficiency. Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development. Experience in designing and deploying fault-tolerant, resilient, and highly available microservices. Passion for automation, intelligent systems, and optimizing cloud workloads. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment. Bonus Points Expertise in Kubernetes Familiarity with observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry. Exposure to JavaScript, ReactJS, and frontend technologies (optional but nice to have).
