Introducing the Terminal Scout Program: $5,000 for Customer Referrals

Since Terminal’s inception, referrals have played a crucial role in our growth. In the dynamic field of hiring and team building—where there is constant bombardment of noise—the real challenge often lies not in direct costs but in the opportunity cost of time. Our industry is notorious for overpromising and underdelivering, which is why our core philosophy has always been to underpromise and overdeliver, ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

People rely heavily on references when evaluating hiring options, trusting the insights of those who have navigated similar paths or thoroughly vetted the market themselves.

I’m proud of the vibrant, supportive community we’ve cultivated—a community that has organically developed into a powerhouse of champions. Impressively, 30% of our customers were introduced to us through referrals, including CTOs, VPs of Engineering, founders, investors, and both former and current clients. With a conversion rate of 50%, referrals are a testament to the efficiency of combining a stellar product with positive endorsements.

While we’ve always valued these connections, we haven’t had a formal system to reward these invaluable contributions—until now.

Introducing the Terminal Scout Program

Our new Scout referral program rewards those who connect us with new customers, sharing a significant portion of our revenue as a token of our appreciation. For each successful referral that results in a new customer making their first Terminal hire, we offer a $5,000 USD reward. We anticipate that our top Scouts could earn between $10,000 to $15,000 per month for just an hour or two of effort!

We invite individuals who have direct access to decision-makers at companies seeking to hire top-tier global engineering talent to apply. Ideal candidates include CTOs, VPs of Engineering, founders, executives, investors, and conference organizers—anyone with a network within the technology sector’s upper echelons.

We’re thrilled to launch this program and eager to see how it will help us and our partners grow, enabling more companies to hire globally with a partner they can trust.
